UNO Dial-up Internet Access (PPP) Usage Policy

Dial-up Internet Access is provided to University of New Orleans faculty, students, and staff to facilitate communication for teaching, scholarly research, and public service. Only University of New Orleans faculty, staff, currently enrolled students and authorized guests may use the UNO Modem Pool. 

Authorized Users

The UNO Modem Pool is funded in part by the UNO Student Technology Fee, and thus, student access is determined solely by enrollment.  Dial-up Internet access shall be provided on a semester-by-semester basis for students who are enrolled and who have paid their tuition and fees by appropriate deadlines.  Continuation of service for students is dependent upon continued enrollment.  Summer access will be provided to students who were enrolled in the Spring semester or who are enrolled in the Summer semester. 

Policy Scope

The UNO Modem Pool Policy applies to all users of the UNO Modem Pool.

1. Users of the UNO Modem Pool agree to abide by all of UNO's General Use Policies.
